Hi and thank you for visiting my website. This page is to tell you the back story of how my business got started. 

Like most women I was absolutely obsessed with having a lovely smelling home. I had two house cats at the time so I used everything I could get my hands on to make sure it didn't smell like cat. I would use candles, melts, diffusers, sprays, literally anything that smelt nice would be brought. 

Back in 2016 I came down with a chest infection that I could not shift, fast forward to April 2018 I was finally able to get rid of it with a 2 week stay at Southampton General and a cystic fibrosis diagnosis. When I returned home I went back to normal life and with that came house work. When I started to use the cleaning products and home fragrances I once loved I would cough uncontrollably. I spoke to the doctors who confirmed that due to long term damage of a collapsed lung and permanent scarring I would be irritated by these products. 

At first I just accepted that I would not be able to enjoy any products I had previous used until one conversation with a friend during lockdown. I was having a moan about it and she suggested using more natural products. I said I would look in to it but she is amazing and started looking in to it for me. She couldn't find anyone selling products but found a supplier who did. 

At first we brought enough to make products for ourselves to see if it worked, and it did! I obviously didn't shut up about it as soon family and friends wanted to buy some so I could visit and not spend the whole time coughing. This is when we thought there might be gap in the market. We did some research and decided to give it a go. 

While talking about the ethics of the business I spoke about disliking that home fragrances all seem to use one use plastics and unnecessary packaging. I had grown up in a reuse, reduce, recycle home so wanted to incorporate this in to the business. We have since spent a lot of time ensure that everything we sell meets this principle. In each product's description I have outlined how.
